From 2016 to 2017, the number of Aspen-market single-family homes increased by 80 percent, and the average sale price increased 24 percent. Condominium, townhome, and duplex sales weren’t far behind with a 31 percent increase in the number of properties sold and a 12 percent increase in average price. However, prices did drop from 2016 to 2017 within fractional sales in the Aspen market.
