Palm Beach is surrounded by water while Aspen is surrounded by mountains. For all practical purposes, both markets have reached build-out and the world’s wealthiest people continue chasing exclusivity and to “park” generational money in both markets.
Although the buyer and seller profiles are the same, each market has its own unusual characteristics and demands. Palm Beach buyers want water frontage and ease of access while Aspen buyers want direct ski access, top-of-the-world views or walking distance to downtown.
